Conditions We Treat

Our physicians diagnose and treat a wide range of retinal and ophthalmic conditions. Learn more about common eye conditions, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment options.

Stye / Chalazion

Styes and chalazia are common eyelid conditions that cause localized swelling, bumps, irritation, and discomfort around the eyelid.

Torn Retina

A retinal tear occurs when the retina develops a small break, allowing fluid to pass underneath and potentially lead to retinal detachment.

Detached Retina

A detached retina occurs when the retina separates from the back of the eye, requiring prompt treatment to help prevent permanent vision loss.

Macular Pucker

A condition in which scar tissue forms on the macula, causing distorted, blurred, or reduced central vision.

Cataracts

A cataract occurs when the eye's natural lens becomes cloudy, causing blurry vision, glare, and difficulty seeing clearly.

Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD)

Age-related macular degeneration is a retinal condition that affects central vision and may cause blurred, distorted, or dark areas in the center of sight.

Uveitis

Uveitis is inflammation of the uvea, the middle layer of the eye, which can cause redness, pain, light sensitivity, and vision loss if left untreated.

Retinal Vein Occlusion (RVO)

A retinal vein occlusion occurs when a vein in the retina becomes blocked, causing bleeding, swelling, and vision loss.

Cystoid Macular Edema (CME)

Cystoid Macular Edema (CME) occurs when fluid accumulates within the macula, causing swelling that can blur or distort central vision.

Dry Eye

Dry eye occurs when your eyes do not produce enough tears or when tears evaporate too quickly, leading to irritation, discomfort, and blurred vision.

Fuchs’ Dystrophy

A progressive corneal disease that causes fluid buildup in the cornea, leading to cloudy vision, glare, and visual discomfort.

Not Sure What Condition You're Experiencing?
