Dr. Schacknow is a distinguished ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist at East Florida Eye Institute, providing exceptional care to patients with a wide range of eye conditions. Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Schacknow is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and an elected member of the American Glaucoma Society.

In addition to his work at East Florida Eye Institute, Dr. Schacknow holds an appointment as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Ophthalmology at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Schacknow's dedication to the professional eye care community extends beyond his clinical practice. He served as the President of the Palm Beach County Ophthalmology Society in 2001, and actively contributes to the field by publishing articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and authoring book chapters on glaucoma diagnostic and surgical techniques.
