Dr. Frenkel was featured in REVIEW OF OPHTHALMOLOGY, discussing operational challenges in providing eye care during COVID-19. He discusses adapting to new safety protocols, providing care to patients who are concerned about contracting COVID-19, reducing the number of patients in the waiting room, increasing the use of telemedicine, and finding ways to safely and effectively provide care to patients who are at high risk for COVID-19. Dr. Frenkel expresses gratitude to his patients and colleagues for their support and encourages other ophthalmologists to share their experiences and insights.
