Dr. Barikian is a highly skilled ophthalmologist and medical retina specialist at East Florida Eye Institute. With a strong background in medical retina and ocular oncology, she brings her expertise and compassionate care to her patients, offering cutting-edge treatments for various eye conditions.

A former medical retina instructor at the #1 ranked Bascom Palmer Eye Institute by US News, Dr. Barikian completed two years of medical retina fellowships at the renowned institution. In addition, she finished an ocular oncology fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences and St. Jude Hospital. She also served as the chief resident during her residency, exemplifying her dedication to the field of ophthalmology.

Dr. Barikian is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists. As a reviewer for several ophthalmologic journals and a presenter at numerous medical conferences, she is dedicated to advancing the field of eye care. With over 30 published manuscripts and abstracts to her name, Dr. Barikian is also an investigator in clinical trials for the diagnosis and management of various ophthalmologic diseases.
