Our mission at East Florida Eye Institute is to maintain and offer the highest standards of care to each and every patient that walks into our office. We strive to move forward in every aspect of the practice as we are constantly evolving new treatments, new treatment plans, the most up-to-date disease monitoring systems and patient-doctor relationships through personalized and individualized care. We aim to be an advocate for all of our patients in their search for the best level of diagnostic care and disease treatment.

Your vision is our passion

The personnel at East Florida Eye Institute are committed to providing excellent patient service. Our experienced doctors and friendly staff provide personalized, quality care. At least that's what our patients say, and we believe them. Many have been coming to us for over 20 years.

Our patients receive university-level care for serious eye diseases and new treatments that are not widely available.

What is an Ophthalmologist?
Ophthalmologists are physicians who specialize in medical and surgical eye care. They diagnose and treat all eye diseases. Many ophthalmologists conduct scientific research to improve treatment options and to find cures for eye diseases and vision disorders. Ophthalmologists differ from optometrists and opticians in their levels of training and in what they can diagnose and treat. As a medical doctor who has completed college and at least eight years of additional medical training, an ophthalmologist is licensed to practice medicine and perform surgery.

Major pharmaceutical companies recognize
East Florida Eye Institute as a clinical study center for national, randomized, FDA-sponsored drug trials.
